Senior Kroger exec steps down (By Alexander Coolidge,, Feb 18, 2016)

Koger’s senior vice president of retail operations, Marnette Perry, is retiring on April 29, the company said Thursday. Perry, who also supervised strategic initiatives, has worked for the Cincinnati-based supermarket company for 44 years. Perry started as a part-time cashier in college, but ended up contributing to the launch of Kroger’s Natural Foods centers and floral departments and later led the launch of the cutting-edge QueVision technology that slashed wait times at the checkout.
