AJCBecker, who emigrated from India to the U.S. at 11, worked her way up through the restaurant industry from a quick service drive-thru worker to, eventually, owner of Bhojanic. She employs more than two dozen Bhutanese refugees in the catering and restaurant business, and provides them with English lessons and helps facilitate their transition to the U.S.
